Barren Ground Coffee: No longer be filling reusable (personal to-go) mugs

To our northern coffee loving community:

Although the risk is low, and there are no confirmed cases in Yellowknife, we will be enacting proactive temporary changes to our already limited weekend shop services in order to protect customers, our staff, and vulnerable members of the north:

◦ We will no longer be taking cash. Credit, debit only.
◦ All food and drinks will be served in take-out containers by staff.
◦ All lids, stir sticks, cream, sugar, etc. will be administered by staff.
◦ We will no longer be filling reusable (personal to-go) mugs.

We have already increased our stringent sanitization procedures and will continue to heavily sanitize surfaces, stools, door handles, etc. as per usual. We have reviewed hand washing and illness with all our team members.

We will continue to practice the protective measures advised and required by the GNWT Environmental Health and the NWT Chief Public Health Officer and will update procedures as things evolve.
