L'atelier Nicole Loubert

Nicole Loubert is a French Canadian artist living in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Her art is inspired by the beautiful landscapes she has seen.

Nicole dreamed to become an artist since a very young age, and began to realize that dream as an adult. She grew up in Matane, a small city along the Saint-Laurent River in the east coast of Québec, and now has a great admiration for the amazing sunset and sunrise that any lakeshores and seashore offers.

Nicole experimented with watercolour and acrylic while exploring and discovering the wonderful world of art. Eventually, she gave preference to oil painting, producing vibrant landscape scenes that capture the unique beauty of the north!

Since 2010, Nicole has been teaching painting to groups of children, teenagers and adults of the community. She loves to share with her knowledge and her love of art with every one.

Nicole also enjoys participating in festivals and craft sale, selling her art and getting to know people and about their taste in art.
